Is it raining where you are (it is here)? Snowing? Just icky and wintery? Want to watch a live video feed of someplace beautiful, someplace you’ve been on vacation, or somewhere you want to go? That’s what I’m highlighting here: the live cameras on You Tube that give you the chance to see other parts of this gorgeous planet. Here’s today’s camera. #5: Explore Where. Do. You. Want. To. Go. These guys have you covered. Wanna spend three hours watching a sloth move three feet? They have a camera set up for that. How about bears fishing in the Alaska wild? Yep. The Northern Lights? You betcha. Explore boasts that it’s the largest network of live nature cams on earth. And here’s the good part: it’s free. Yes, you absolutely can make donations, but they aren’t giving you a ten-second preview then saying, “pay up.” When it’s dark they will run “highlight” reels of scenery on some of the channels (not really necessary for the sloths….there’s never much action there to begin with ). It’s like a video rendition of National Geographic where you pick the articles. Enjoy your trip! Explore (Explore Nature Cams and Explore Zen Den) Nature cameras hosted by Explore-dot-org Worldwide Here’s an obvious favorite of mine, the Santa Monica Pier:
Here's the view from Explore.org headquarters--from the bustling Santa Monica Pier to the hills of Malibu. Watch live and explore our other zen dens on Explo...

I like to go on YouTube and put in the name of a city in a certain state. There is usually somebody giving a tour of that city and what it looks like., but not always.

@Scrapper88 It's a pretty little Iowa town. With a decent college in it.

Sounds like a cool idea. I should put up a speaker refinishing cam! "This is the final coat of oil drying."

@xander6464 I understand. My lawyers have already written a disclaimer.

@FourWalls Already considered. My lawyers are on top of things. I am thinking of adding Michael Cohen to my team. I liked his book.

That is great. I remember those videos about people travelling to various places and it was always fun to imagine traveling along,

Sounds pretty cool! I like travel videos so such videos could be a good supplement to those. I could even find some good things to write about as well!
