My dentist appointment / myLot

I knew I was going for more than a check up. The dentist did prep work for a crown and made me a temporary. It should be ready in two weeks. I made an appointment for a day I am off in three weeks. Meanwhile they want me to chew on that side as little as possible so my temporary crown does not come off.

Yup! Temporary crowns are fun. I had one a couple of years ago. The dentist told me to eat like normal so the temporary would come off when he was ready to replace it. When it didn't pop right off for him he asked me if I'd deliberately not chewed on that side of my mouth.

We found out he wasn't a very good dentist when all the work he did on Pretty's teeth had to be redone two years later. I'm glad he didn't do very much to my teeth.

Usually my temporaries come off too soon. They asked me not to chew on this side, so it will not come off too early.

I remember having a temporary crown break after a day. And all I had was soup!

I will end up with several when it is all done. My last one came off with ice cream. Maybe the extreme hot of the soup and the extreme cold of the ice cream were factors.
