Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I was just thinking that how time flies and we have come at the end of this year.
This year has mostly been hard for all of us across the world no matter where we are staying.
There are certain important things this year taught us are as follows:-
1) Do not take anything for granted. Be it your own health, family, friends etc. The virus has made us realise the value of good health and of dear people around us.
2). The value of freedom. We all valued our freedom more now as we faced lockdowns, curfew which restricted us from going outside. Small things like going to mall, theatre, other public places which we didn't value much, then got so much importance.
3). Being Independent and doing your own work. It applies more in India where people depend on maids and other staff to do their work. During lockdown, almost everyone took care of their own home and they also realised the value of their maids and other staff people.
4). Helping other people irrespective of caste, religion, gender etc. During this pandemic, a lot of helpful hands came forward to help people selflessly by either donating money, sending food, paying bills etc. People got more compassionate towards other people and their grief.
5). The hard work put in by the medical fraternity. We realised the value of medical fraternity more during this pandemic. The whole staff be it doctors, nurses, compounder, medical store people. Everyone put up hardwork in saving people's lives by putting their life in danger along with their families.
6). Humans can't do much against Nature. The fact that we humans feel powerful but we can't do anything against Nature. We can just try to be safe as much as we can.
7) Virus attacked everyone without class divide. The virus is so powerful. It attacked everyone be it rich, middle class or poor people irrespective of caste, religion, gender etc.
Share your thoughts about it. Do let me know if I missed anything. Have a good day. Take care!!

Well, I cannot single out any one point.
All are vital lessons of 2021, but perhaps 1 is a bit more important than others.
And by the end, with Omicron rearing up, it has been proved once more.
Just hoping that 2022 would be good for all of us!

These are good. For one's health, number 7 is a must. It shouldn't be taken for granted.

Those are insightful reminders.
What about "Remember to love yourself, under any circumstances."?
Often, we're too busy meeting the challenges if the day that we forget to pause for a while and think, if we're loving ourself, or instead, giving ourself a hard time.
Loving one's self is not ignoring the problems, but welcoming them and acknowledging them so you can then work through them, without being harsh to yourself.
In short, accept yourself as you are, but work towards becoming a better person.
Again, happy new year!
