Oh, my gosh...

I got a text this evening saying that one of the children I worked with at the daycare over the Christmas Break had COVID, and I had been exposed.
I called my boss to let her know, and tried to find somewhere where I could get tested.
After some back-and-forth texting with my boss, she said she was going to come and get me (this is after I went to a website she sent me and I asked exactly where the test site was).
We went to a guy's house here in town who had been licensed to give tests, and there were a few other people there, too.
He pronounced me negative, but my boss, with whom I've spent the last two days, not so much.
That means no work tomorrow, and also I'll have to get tested again in five days.
Ah, well. I'm glad my boss found a testing spot, as I don't know how I was going to. However, the next five days I guess I'll be hunting for another spot to get tested...

Good that you tested negative. Let's hope you stay that way.

Yes, so the daycare is shut down for the week.

That can be scary when you are exposed to someone with Covid. Hope your next test also comes out to be negative. But it's always wise to isolate yourself and take all measures to not spread it. I got covid from my work place in April.
