Brendel Playing With P.J. Again

Last night Brendel was feeling good. She has this tiny bear I call P.J., and it has always been her favorite toy. She used to bring him to me, and lay him at my feet. That means she wants to play. But with her feeling bad, she has not done that in a long time. She actually put P.J. in the water bowl once. Too funny. Trying to keep the Dude from drinking maybe. The games they play are so funny. I snapped a video of her last night and got this screenshot to share. A little blurry but if you look close, you can see tiny P.J., her little pink bear. I would throw him in the air and she caught him. So good to see her play a few minutes. Photo is mine.

Hooray! She’s doing better! I’m so thankful she’s improved from the bronchitis. That’s a terrible thing for a human to have, and I can only imagine it’s worse on a poor little cat.

Well, a day at a time. She still has the bronchitis, forever, but she seems to be feeling good now, and I will take that. So fun to be playing with her again. It is heartbreaking to watch.

This is another beautiful sign, Brendel is enjoying her beloved toy, P.J. I remember Mama Kitty, batting her paws at flashing lights, on the back wall!

Yes she absolutely does. She is 12 years old now. She sleeps beside me every night.
