Growing Crystals with the Boys

Today it's pouring rain outside so I won't be going out to play with my son and his daycare buddy. We're doing a little science kit that I bought at the dollar store. It's a little kit to grow crystals!
It included rocks, a special crystal mixture, and a popsicle stick which I couldn't figure out the use of LoL.
Apparently it can take a couple days to grow, so will hopefully have some results to post as photos by then.

Now I will be the impatient one waiting for the crystals to grow, as they've already forgotten about it and moved on to something else.

I use to grow crystals some when I was a kid. I thought it was fun.
