Absolutely no help

DR at the hospital last night told me to call my regular DR today and make an appointment with them about whatever infection I have. So I did. And of course they told me to just drink and take the medicine. No appointment. Like what the heck. A DR told me to get an appointment and like usual the regular DRS don't want to make me one! So fed up with this kind of stuff. Happens all the time no matter what regular DR I have!

Sounds like the doctors here, they always got to make things complicated, or don't want to do things.... Sorry to hear that!

Thats too bad. But do continue to take your medication and try to drink more water that sometimes helps.

Same here. I think it's because of Covid. They are all over whelmed. When my pain Doctor visited he combined his visit with my general practioners. Two visits in one because she is in the hospital herself having been in an accident. He said they are really overly busy so he was taking some of hers and another doctor taking some. We have the misfortune of being sick during such a time as this.

@Courtlynn they are worse now though then ever. My last emergency room run, I was there 5 hrs. Only to be told that my age and condition it was to be expected what I was feeling and now I was fine. I just figured I got better from laying there waiting and not eating. All I wanted by then was to go home and eat anyway

With me it is the other way. If I call they want to see me before they will give me any advice or medicine. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Regular doctors are so booked up with emergencies, they basically ignore everything else:( It's not right!

They aren't booked though. And a uti is somewhat an emergency, when it's been over a week having it - with taking antibiotics. They're just not helpful.

@Courtlynn I think I was on antibiotics for about ten days. I drove to my doctor's office and they took a urine sample. This was about two months ago I had a uti. The medication worked.

@kobesbuddy I was given for 7 days, but they didn't work so it got bad and had to try new meds. Hopefully these ones are working. Havent had burning or any other pain/uncomfortableness that i was so i think they are but never know.
