If I told you that our Energy provider sent me a pair of Socks would you believe me? Well today a package from EON energy arrived and right enough when I opened it up inside it was a pair of socks No paperwork Just socks. Has your energy provider ever sent you a pair of socks?

Socks?? No candies inside? Our energy provider won't bother to give as anything since it's runned by a monopoly, we have one of the highest energy cost in the world I believe. If they gave as socks it would probably come with instructions to put your next payment there like a stickup. That was very thoughtful of them.

No candies. I reckon what we pay for electric and gas would be as high as anywhere else in the world I feel really sorry for you if you pay more than I do.

@JimBo452020 no need to be sorry, I'm resilient and had adapted to paying very high electricity cost for decades, I had trained my mind to make more money instead of worrying and with the money I learned and built my own small off grid solar system, now they can just partially rob me

@louievill All my outside projects are run by solar. And eventually I will build the solar battery bank for the running of things in the house. I've been meaning to get it completed for almost 2 years..

@JimBo452020 I wasn't saying you will promote them. Was asking if they were promoting themselves on socks.

Nice! I believe we have EON too, but it's not my provider. If this is a general offer I should move to them. It's cold in here, the energy price has doubled so a pear of sock will solve it all

Lol I hope not. Some energy companies here have gone bust.. I hope EON won't go bust as it's a hassle getting another provider

@JimBo452020 You get to choose your energy providers? Here we don't have a choice, the energy companies have monopolies, and we're stuck with whoever controls our territory. I live inside the city limits of a municipality that owns it's own utility company, and the result is that we have the highest energy rates in the country.

@moffittjc 9k people I our area. A choice of over 20 companies lol It's complicated. I think the rates are similar for them all here unless you sign up long term I did. Florida is an expensive.place to live.though Isn't it?

@JimBo452020 I agree that it would have been better to give everyone a credit. I cannot understand why they decided to send socks.

Not socks, but this last fall our energy provider dropped off energy-saving light bulbs for everyone that lived in my neighborhood. I was grateful, they are often pricey. Warm socks are always appreciated in the winter.

@JimBo452020 Maybe someone paid their bill in socks, and they used them to generate some good will? Who knows...I just thought it strange we got the light bulbs when most of us have lived in this neighborhood for years.
