This year's CES---The Consumer Electronics Show. It's held by the Consumer Technology Association every January in Las Vegas. This year it was Wednesday, January 5 to Saturday, January 8, 2022---was kind of lackluster. There were a couple of brand-new and quite interesting self-driving vehicles but since so many of you suffer from resistentialism---The fear of malevolent behavior delivered by inanimate objects---I won't be covering it. Today. There are no guarantees for the future. Pro Tip: Beware The Ides Of March. So the only one single thing that leaves is the Samsung Eco Remote. The new and amazing thing about it is that it charges via radio waves from your router or from the light from your ordinary light fixtures (It also has a standard USB-C Port in case the radio and light waves fail but they won't fail. That's what the girl at the Samsung exhibit told me and she looked very honest). Yes, it is only a TV Remote. Today. But don't get hung up on the immediate limitations. It isn't a TV Remote at all. It's really the on-ramp to the Brave New Wireless/Batteryless Highway. That is a road you want to be on. No more cords! No more Batteries! For anything! Tablets, Personal Massagers---Most ladies call them toys for some reason, even though most of them are labeled For Adult Use Only. I still don't know why---Phones, Laptops, Flashlights...You name it and soon you won't have to buy batteries for it or plug it in. The only other one single thing that we are left with is the ICON.AI Sound Mirror---And I almost didn't add it because it might trigger some resistentialism sufferers who don't want AI anywhere near their bathroom (I guess you can hang it anywhere but it's intended for the bathroom). But I think it's going to be OK because this thing is just a big mirror that channels Alexa to you. It doesn't even have a camera. Yet. So the only person who sees what is reflected in the mirror is you. And your guest(s). If there are any in your bathroom. That's it. There is an article linked below where you can check out other things and you probably should. This whole post is just my opinion and what do I know about Tech? I'm Orthodox Amish. I'm not even allowed to use electricity. PS Please don't tell God I was in Vegas. At a Tech Show. Let's just keep that between you and me. ************** FEATURED, TECH The Best Tech Products of CES 2022 NICK HALL, 10 JAN 2022 | NEWS

Some very interesting concepts. The SUVs and Laptop features are for die-hard tech enthusiasts or experts. The one you talked about and the AI mirror are truly special. May be people who would actually buy them would give a better feedback.

Some people will buy them now and then the quality will improve and the price will come down.

The self driving car thing is interesting. I was a big fan of Knight Rider in the Eighties!

I liked Knight Rider, too. Every car should be like that.
