A Dusting of Snow

We woke up to a little dusting of snow this morning. I didn't get to see it though because it didn't stick and melted. I stayed in my bed and stayed warm while the hubby got up and went to walk the dog. He came back and reported about the light snow on the ground.
The photo is not here of course and has a nice little snowfall. That is a photo from Pixabay, public domain. I just wanted to post a photo that was related to my post.
Did you get snow this weekend and how cold is it in your area? We will be in the low 30's tonight.

We started with icy rain Friday night switching to snow around 3 am Saturday morning. It kept snowing all day Saturday and into the morning on Sunday. Even though our high only reached 24F today, the snow has started sublimating. I did open the back door this morning and took a photo of an evergreen tree in our back yard coated with snow.

@kareng If we kept those nice and warm temps year round then bugs wouldn't die off and we'd be overrun with ticks and mosquitoes.

@CarolDM Yep, it has been raining here since around 9 pm. Tomorrow night ice storm or ice on roads from all the wet stuff falling. We will see. I have to make a grocery run or we may just skip it. Not looking forward to the next three nights.

@LindaOHio I actually laughed at one of the owners at the boutique today. She had on a sweatshirt and it was in the 70's today. I told her she should have saved it for tomorrow or the next day!

@kareng So far we've had more snow in 2021 and 2022 than we did from 2017 to 2019 combined. it has been an odd weather year so far.
