Out of the windows, anyway. That nasty predicted storm came through last night and is still hanging around. As the song says, "The wind is blowing and the snow is snowing..." and clogging up the window screens. The prediction was for up to 30cm (that's 12" for you non-metricated people) and the little I can see out the windows does look at least that much.

I'm going to try again to post a photo I took of an evergreen tree in my back yard... I keep getting a server error. I'm hoping my photo shows up this time.

We're predicted to get 10-20 and we've probably got about 6-8 right now. But the winds are the issue it is causing poor visibility in the city. And the schools were supposed to reopen for in-class learning again today, so much for that thought.

And we were doing so well, too, but no we've gotten the whole season's worth in a night and day. And there's apparently another storm due tomorrow, then maybe rain on Wednesday!

Yikes, I pray that everyone up there is well prepared for this kind of weather. Here we rarely get snow so most of us just don't have the proper clothes or anything else for something like what you're getting.

Very warm here today, like a mid spring day. This weather can be weird.

@BarBaraPrz I have not yet checked the temperature this morning, but must be very warm, the furnace turned off and it is on "auto" waiting for the cold.

That sounds like quite a bit of snow to me. I'm glad it's passed over now.

Well, I do have vision problems, but now with my new glasses I can see better than I could a week ago.

Ohhh, sounds like lots of white out there! Stay warm indoors. We're getting some showers now - giving the windows only a slight blur.

I hope you get enough heat inside your home. I"m pretty I would still get sick even if I had both the heater and fire place.

We got that nasty storm too but not much in snow. Ours went from snow to rain/sleet and made everything icy and frozen. Knocked out my cable but at least the power stayed on so we stayed nice and warm.

Ice storms are just as bad. Glad you kept your power. It looks like the sun is trying to come out here. That'd be nice, not that it'll melt much if any of this snow.
