Biggest Snow Fall Of The Season

Yesterday, we had the biggest snowfall of the season. We had more than 2 feet of snow ! What a mess it created for thousands and thousands of people trying to get to work. 2 big highways had to be closed for a while in order to get the snow plowed. There is still a lot of snow to be cleared and on top of that we are freezing weather. Nobody is happy around here.

Where in Canada are you? It's just sunny and cool down here in California. We've had some decent rain, though.

It was a huge mess and still is as it will take a while to clean everything. Buses were stuck everywhere and some of them are still there.

@marlina That is why I am glad that it does not snow a lot in Jerusalem because it is a real mess to clean it up and takes forever here to do it.

@marlina and causes high heating bills and summer is same. To hot and causes high air conditioning bills. We can't win.

I saw the news. The storm really packed a wallop. I saw reports from North Carolina up to Canada.

@marlina It's OK looking at it on pictures and through the window but I don't like walking in it. It's cold, and if some has melted and refrosen it can be very slippy. I remember slipping on some ice and landing right on my bum when I was younger!

you may have to just go out and build a snow man. it rarely snows where I am but we did see some last weekend, it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

We got alot snow too. It's so pretty. But yeah it was a mess. My mother didn't like being stuck in the house.
