There are many kinds of flowers that can be eaten but I know only 2 to 4 of them.
I bought banana blossoms in the market for my adobo dish last week.
The other day, I saw this squash blossoms at the store. And since I cannot remember the last time I ate such, I bought 2 bundles and added it on my vegetable dish.

I can't explain. But some part taste, I thought I was eating fiber, but sometimes nutty and I can feel the texture of the fiber.

Yes, we do. Some of the flowers we grow are edible. We eat the bulbs, leaves and flowers of the Shamrocks we grow in our garden and house. We eat the clover blossoms that grow wild in our yard. We ate some of the pumpkin flowers when they bloomed.

@jobelbojel I've eaten rose hips but never roses.
This is the pot of Shamrocks we have growing in the kitchen during our winter. Photo is mine.

@jobelbojel I never made them myself, but I’m pretty sure cream cheese and various herbs are used.

I cannot distinguish the taste because I added to a vegetable dish known here as bulanglang or pinakbet.

It is good. I wanted to add more leaves but I am not sure how to remove the not so smooth leaves.

@jobelbojel I knew that there were some you could eat but I have zero knowledge on what they would be. Knowing me, if I tried, I'd probably accidentally pick something poisonous.
