Feeling Okay Today!

I got my Covid19 booster shot yesterday and am feeling better than expected. At about 11 pm I started feeling a bit achy. You that have you have when you get the flu? That's what it felt like only just minimal. I had a restless night's sleep because the achiness got worse. I woke up this morning with just those aches, no fever, no chills, etc. So I took an Advil and I am feeling pretty good. Phew, that's a relief. After my second Moderna shot, I was down and out the whole next day with a fever, aches, chills, and really tired. I have enough energy that I am even going to take the dog for a walk later. How are you feeling today?

I am feeling good despite having to deal with cold weather outside.

@deepizzaguy I am glad you are feeling good. The weather will warm up before we know it. Especially because we both live in the south. In early March our weather warms up in Georgia. That's about 6 weeks away!

@marlina I didn't do too much today, but because I felt better than expected I baked a bit and did a few things around the house. Plus took a nap. My husband looked so comfortable taking a nap I decided to take one too!

I'm glad you're feeling alright. I get my booster in two weeks, on February 4.

My arm ached for a couple of days when I got my shot. My daughter had the aches.

@celticeagle I had both the arm ache and the body aches last night. I had trouble sleeping because I have bursitis in my left hip, so it's painful to lay on that side, and then a sore right arm from the shot, so it was painful to lay on that side. Since I am a side sleeper, it made for a restless nght.

My first jab was a bad case of 24 hour flu and it lasted almost as long. My second booster just caused an ache in my elbow and wrist, so that was much better

@Kouponkaren Thinking about it, it is boosting our immune, so there are already antibodies at work, so it shouldn't be a strong a reaction

@Ronrybs My second one was like the flu, and I thought this 3rd one (booster) would be the same but it was much better, thankfully.

I am feeling well thank you. All I have gotten from the Covid shots is soreness at the injection site.

I would say well enough. Thinking about washing my hair, actually.

@kaylachan Did you end up washing it? I used to wash my hair every day. But then I noticed it was really drying out so now I only wash it every 2 - 3 days and it is much healthier.

That's good that the shot hasn't affected you more than it has done.
