I have been looking for several things ever since the maid came. I found in the carbage can my 2 disposable bottles to water my plant containers. It took me a day to find my different things to do my nails. She had placed them in the chest in a display that took me hours to see. Now, today, I could not find the paper bags that I get with my groceries. I recycle them and use them for the garbage, separating the recyclable things from the one that go to the sewer. Up to now, I have not seen them. I suppose that next week I will have to tell her as soon as she arrives not to throw ANYTHING away without asking. I miss Leticia.

I am not surprised that you miss Leticia, I do have to say of course you have to tell her not to throw anything away without asking but can you imagine being interrupted all the time with questions, Perhaps I might suggest that the things she thinks should be thrown away are put on a table and then you can take a look at them and decide what really has to be thrown out

@TheHorse I think life should not be so long. I did lots of things until my 65 year.

@marguicha I accept life for what it is. At least she flexes her tail when I meow at her.

I know how you feel, Mom was furious as the maid who my brother sent her threw plenty of things without asking.

@LadyDuck The problem is that I need her, so she will have to learn.

@marguicha I can very well understand. I was mad at the maid of my Mom and it was not even my apartment.

I'm sure Leticia wishes she could come back too. The paper bags have probably been discarded.

You need to get used to each other. Maybe it will work out in the end.

@marguicha Maybe you should ask her to tell you if she's going to change the location of something.

Maid. Maid. I can't even imagine having one. But I know in some countries many people have maids.

Leticia came to my life over 20 years ago, when I had a back surgery. She came for a few days each week and then, when my husband was dying, she took care of everything. Then she had another role, one that she kept on doing when, months later my grandson Tomás had cancer and she went with Claudia. She was the housekeper, the nanny and everything. And when later Vicente was born, she raised him. Later on, a long time later, I had cancer and she took care on me. She is not a maid any longer but I pay her as she needs the money.

But to throw away things without asking is as bad as stealing.
