The snack at my place is called "Cakarayam" (chicken claw). Made from grated sweet potato, then fried, then mixed with brown sugar. It's crunchy and sweet. Very tasty.
When I was a kid, I used to buy it at a shop near my school. I am addicted to its sweet and crunchy taste.
Do you also like to put or fry sweet potatoes with brown sugar mixture?

It is called chicken claw, because of its odd shape, like the shape of a tangled skein of thread. Maybe because of the shape. Or I'm also not sure why it's called that. I don't really think about the name, the important thing is that it tastes really good and crunchy.

Some people put brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and marshmallows on their sweet potatoes; but I never heard of making them into balls and deep frying them.

You have to try it. First you grate the sweet potato, or you slice it into small pieces, then you fry it until it's cooked. Once cooked you lift.
Then you slice the brown sugar and you fry it with oil until the brown sugar melts, after it melts you turn off the gas stove fire. then enter the yam that has been fried earlier into the liquid brown sugar, then stir until smooth, until the sweet potato and brown sugar are evenly mixed.
after that you print it with a round shape like the one drawn. or you can shape according to your taste. The yellow one is the yellow sweet potato, the other one is made of purple sweet potato.

I use brown sugar, honey and butter as a glaze for baked sweet potatoes.
I have never fried them but next time I have some, I'll give it a try.
It sounds really good.

I plan on it. I don't have any raw sweets right now but will pick some up next time out.
It sounds delicious.
