By calories you mean you are checking on your diet or what do you mean banking calories?

I would think that if a goal of 1500 calories were set for a daily amount, by only consuming 900 calories today would allow you 2100 calories tomorrow.

I used to think this would work for me, but it doesn't. I asked the Dr., can I save one day's calories to eat another day? He said it was not a good idea, as it promoted me overeating and then not eating enough, and that wasn't healthy. I was disappointed at the time, but followed what he said. Now it seems I have shrunk my tummy somewhat, as I can't hold all of that food at once anyway without feeling miserable. It's taken me a long time to realize I just simply had to watch my calories and sodium intake. I didn't want to comply, but I finally did it.
Hope your feast is good.

@MarieCoyle I have the same problem. But to be fair I eat really too much I'm surprised I'm not obsessed yet.

It certainly took me long enough. I hate dieting, why couldn't I have been one of those people who can eat what I want to, and never gain weight? LOL

By 'banking it,' do you mean 'calories you're not eating so you can eat them at your "feast"'? or 'calories you ARE eating so you can have a "feast" of extra work to do in the gym'?
Because your body doesn't know about 'staving it off now so you can binge later' and it might think something's wrong! That's one of the reasons I do 'intermittent fasting' (basically, 'only eating two meals a day').

@flapiz At first, I didn't know it was 'intermittent fasting'; I thought it was just 'only eating two meals a day.' Besides, why else would they call your first meal of the day "Break-Fast"?

A little bit of both I am walking a lot when I work and I intend to not reach my calorie allowance for today so I can enjoy tomorrow. I see you know your calorie counts and intermittent fasting.
I use to live and swear by IF but I cannot do it on a 14 hour shift at the hospital. I'm going to faint if I did.

@mythociate hahaha. Well that is true but I was expecting your fasting to be done during the day

How do you do that? is there a device that count your calories? I've been biking lately. But somehow my fitness watch doesn't count what I step on when biking.

There's an app for it and in the UK when you scan the barcode of products it will show you the calories it contains.

I heard that if you break cookies into small pieces, some calories escape.
