I know when I was little that I had nightmares. There was one where all the animals were chasing me, and another with butterflies. After my parents took me to see Fantasia when I was 5, I had a nightmare about the dinosaurs. Growing up I used to dream that I was flying. Wow, I went everywhere. Those were fun dreams. And then there were the peeing dreams. Usually those ones meant, "you need to wake up and go to the bathroom." There were some as an adult that were kind of disturbing. One was about me being enrolled in college, not going to most of the classes, and finals were coming up very soon. Usually there was a math class involved in that particular dream. Another was about work and how I was hours late to work and what should I do about it. Or I was at work in my pajamas. Or I showed up at my old job years after I should have been at another job. Or one about different houses that I either supposedly used to live in, or was looking at to buy. I rarely have those dreams any more. Maybe it's because my life has settled down. Or possibly it's the Melatonin. I really wonder if any of them meant anything.
