Wednesday Coffee Talk

Happy Wednesday Everyone! a sunny day with semi blue skies and cold. Yup the cold is back after a few days of hovering around the freezing mark. Normally freezing would feel cold but since it's been so far below that recently the freezing mark almost felt like it was warm.
Today the dog groomer was supposed to come but now she just texted and said she has a headache and will let us know later if she's going to come. I don't want to sit here wondering if she is or isn't coming so I told my daughter just to text her back and reschedule.
The car is due for it's yearly state inspection so that will be dropped off this evening for tomorrow. It's just so much easier to leave it there overnight rather than trying to bring it in early in the morning since it isn't something we can just sit and wait for.
I've been busy getting all my yarn organized. Boy do I have a lot. Yarn, coffee and books are the things I can never have too much of 
Speaking of coffee....I'm ready for my second cup

I too would have cancelled the appointment and rescheduled it. I don't like uncertainty.
It's Wednesday night and I am in my warm blanket. It was a holiday today on account of Republic day. It was fun being lazy and mylotting

It's always nice having a holiday in the middle of the week. If the groomer had said an hour late or something definite I probably would have agreed but I didn't want to sit here all day wondering if she was coming or not.

@arunima25 you're right about a mid-week break and confusing the days. All day yesterday (Thursday) I thought it was Friday

@Marilynda1225 A mid- week break is like a perk but it makes us loose the track of the days

Well, the sun seems to be shining here, too. It wasn't when I first got up, so I took my migrain back to bed. Feeling better now, thank you. Temp is -11°C/13°F.
Think I'll have another cup of tea.

Yeah, I wouldnt want to wonder about the groomer either. Today has been kind of average. Nothing outstanding, but the new warming throw is supposed to come later that will be cool.

Usually about every 6 weeks but this time it's already almost months. I was very disappointed we had to reschedule.

Its a cold but sunny day here today too.
With the great news that we received yesterday, that our granddaughters will be born in a few days, I only feel the warmth and love at the prospect of becoming a Nana.

I can't have too many books either. In between all the other things I'm doing I'm reading 2 books right now. One is downstairs for day time and the other by my bed for night time

Well, now you've got more time to organize your craft works. My day good. I was out of instant ramen, si went to my neighborhood store Marukai, got it and other necessities. Friday, Safeway, if they've tulips.
