Good afternoon from this side of the planet.
It's 4:10 PM here and I am happy to be here from last one hour.
Weekend begins
And I am happy that I am done with all cooking chores and don't need to worry about evening dinner. I cooked extra portions during lunch. I can be here for another hour and then get up to fold and iron the laundry on the clothesline.
My daughters have got their datesheet for coming pre- board exams. It starts from 9th February. This would be a preparation for their national level board examinations in March. They seem to be excited, anxious and all geared up to prepare for it. My elder one is writing 12th board exam in March to pass her senior secondary school. Then she would be heading to College life for undergraduate study. My younger one is writing her 10th board exams to pass her High school and enter the two years of Senior secondary school.
Time just flies. It seems like yesterday that they were into Montessori and I was all worried about the separation anxiety as young mother
. Now they are soon going to fly out of my nest
It's was a bright sunny and pleasant day
. And right now I am sitting on the bed in the spot where we get the sunlight before the sun sets. So, I can get some sunlight for another one hour before the sun sets.
My garden is in full bloom in this pleasant weather. And here I share the picture of the beautiful marigold blooms with an interesting black and white beautiful visitor
I clicked the picture on Wednesday and wanted to share it here but then I could not as I got busy with reading new posts and answering notifications. Speaking of notifications, that huge number of more than 100 has kept me busy for last one hour. It feels good that I cleared them all
I just made some ginger tea for husband and myself. I handed him his tea. He is busy with his work. Elder one is taking a nap. She is a night person and prefers to study in the night time. Younger one is busy with her Maths lesson. She is an early morning person like me and would be in the bed by 9

Yes, they do grow up so soon..My elder one is all set to leave by mid of this year. And she has already started with the discussion that how her room should be treated as her room even in her absence

Yes, they are focused and self motivated for their studies. Here too it's windy but the sun is warm enough to enjoy outdoors.

@snowy22315 I think it's cold there and the weather is to be held responsible for the lethargic feelings. Good that you got few things done despite that. Once we get moving, lethargy goes away

It’s a very exciting time in your home. I’m sure the girls will do extremely well on their exams. Our granddaughter studied from August through December for her exams for admission to a special high school in Manhattan. They only count those exams for entrance, and the results won’t be announced until May! I can’t take the long wait. She told us the exams were so difficult

Wishing all the luck to your granddaughter May she comes out with flying colours.
Even we have to wait till April end for things to get clear on result front. Some exams have few rounds to clear. And then after results are out, we would be busy applying for colleges depending on her scores. It's a long wait. It's exciting as well as nerve wrecking with all tough competition..few seats and lots applying for that.
