So, my student seemed "off" all day yesterday.
He really would not work for the physical therapist, or for me.
He looked pale.
The vision specialist came for her monthly visit. He fell asleep while she was working with him. By the way, even though he felt bad, I did see him indicate letter identity with his eye gaze and do some simple math.
We took him to his rest area for a break. I was going to put him down in the floor to choose rocking chair or bean bag, but he crawled in my lap and slept for fifteen or twenty minutes.
He slept on the bean bag. My relief person got the nurse to take his temperature and it was high enough to send him home. He will not be in school today.
So "tag" I am the exposed person. I doubt that it is covid, he had that at the end of August, but it could be.
I am leaving for work in a minute.

Yes, you can get it more than once. I am not sure it was covid, he did not get tested. I hope if he gets sicker his parents take him to see a professional.

I suspect it might be the flu. We have several illnesses going around the school. I am vaccinated for all of them that have vaccines.

Yes, and just the day before he was lively and energetic. He is in a large family and the parents take him to activities like ball games, etc. so sometimes I think he is tired. He works hard at school. He was definitely sick, though.

They did not have permission to test him, but he has had it once. I know he could catch it again. I am suspecting it may be influenza. I am vaccinated for that as well.

@GardenGerty - They test all students every week here, as the young cannot be vaccinated, it is important.

I hope it's not covid but you never know. This spreads like fever and cases have been there where people have got infected multiple times. You should take all precautions and if possible stay isolated.

I am thinking it was not covid, but maybe influenza. He has had covid. Yes, I am vaccinated twice then a booster. I have also had my flu shot. But whatever, I am definitely a close contact.

He cannot/does not wear masks, I have one always. It could be just about any illness though.
