My Plan

Whenever I add new products to my inventory at the boutique, I have to go in early to print out my price tags with a UPC code, my unique code for my makeup and skin care products. This is all done through the software program at the boutique. I can log in to the program from home and contemplated buying a label printer to pring my tags at home. But that model is over $300 brand new, and I don't know if I should trust buying a used one. The labels are also expensive, depending on where you buy them from. So, I think I can just print the labels with my codes and tape them to an index card or business card and that should work just fine. I know I will eventually use a lot of tape, but it would beat putting out $300 right now. And, I can get a lot done here at home and not have to go in early. That would be a big win! sounds like a very smart plan. Right now no one can afford to spend or loose extra money

Oh, 300 is quiet a lot, but if it will make your work efficient then I think it will be fine.

I'm going to go the route of printing and taping to business care or index card for now. I can buy a lot of both for $300. I don't see why it would not work.

I don't see why it wouldn't! The scanner should be able to pick up the code through clear tape.

@jstory07 We are going to find out Monday. I was going to ask one of the co-owners, but I think I'm just going to do it. I can test it once I get there.

I think your plan will work fine. $300 is a big investment; and I wouldn't want a used printer.

I am planning on getting these glitter bags done this way this weekend. I have some card stock I can use to tape the upcs down on and list what is inside each bag since they are all different.

@LindaOHio I have to find where the card stock is stashed at tomorrow!! I will be torn between flea market and doing that little project! I don't think I will make both unless we just happen to get up very early and I don't expect that to happen.
