I put some order to the fridge.

I don´t know why my refrigerator fills up so soon. So today I decided to put some order to it and discovered interested things that had to be disposed of.
There was a tiny amount of champagne in the door drawers of the fridge. It used up a lot of space and it was more of a white wine than something else as it had lost its bubblyness. It was a matter of throwing it away or drinking it. I poured it into a glass and discovered that it was almost nothing. So I added liqueur de cassis and made me a kir. The champagne was more like a wine so I could not call it kir royale. But it was good. And I have space to put there some bread.
There are lots of small Tupperware dishes. All filled with small amounts of this and that.
Tomorrow the maid will come. I am paying her a lot for her work but she knows how to do her work. I´ll cook some lentils and will have a salad on a small plate. End of the meal.
Still I have a lot of things to do before she comes. See you later.

I went through our fridge one day last week throwing out old and forgotten bits and pieces of whatever we stuck in there. (Pretty was a bit upset when I threw out frozen strawberries because she claimed they were still good.

I know what you mean. When Leticia was here, she made me write what things were and date them. A few weeks ago I found a piece of meat casserole dated 2016. I thawed it and gave it to Luna. She loved it and did not get ill. I wouldn´t have eaten it for the world. But then, I´m not a dog

The refrigerator needs cleaning anyway; but hubs knocked over a can of pop in a drawer. Now it will be all sticky.

I am one of those guilty of putting left overs to the fridge and also keeps in forgetting about it only to find out that the left overs have accumulated and have occupied much space lok.
