We have had this kitten for about two years now. We got him when my daughter's favorite cat turned up dead from what we think was anti-freeze poisoning. She adored him and it was heartbreaking when she came upon him dead laying in the living room.
So, Mr. Mittens took over for him. The story on this baby layette is that my daughter got it at a yard sale for her daughter. She set it there at the top of the stairs and the cats started laying in it. She just left it there for them.
I think it is so cute when they do lay in it and I have sworn to get a picture but kept missing. I just had to take a picture and got it taken before he jumped out again. So, there is Mittens laying in the baby layette.

@celticeagle can you believe the grey cat is a year older than the orange one? We call the white spot on Opal's chest her "Twinkie" and assure her that it is the only sweet place on her. She's really very sweet, to us, not to other cats.

@ElicBxn ......Hard to tell age with cats until they get old. Cats seem to enjoy treating one another badly. Like siblings even if they aren't.

Cute picture...a little skewed but good. We never had cats...always dogs...and they always did cute things.
