Neighbor's Dog Was Lost

@CarolDM I am glad it turned out well. I have so many loose dogs around here, I have no idea where they belong.

@Vikingswest1 Most everyone around here has a leash on their dogs. Every now and then I will see one running loose.

I was really afraid something was wrong. She is such a sweet and friendly dog.

@CarolDM Oreo has been lucky that you noticed her alone. A car could scare her and it would be very dangerous.

@LadyDuck Yes and she is so friendly, anyone could have taken her.

I know, it was a bit scary seeing her alone. I will keep a check on him.

@Dena91 I feel sorry for people who live in fear.

He is very stubborn but we will see. You never hear anyone having a cold or the flu. If you have a runny nose, gotta be Covid! If that is the case, I have it.

@CarolDM I bet they had a very nice reunion and so glad that Oreo was ok. Dogs do wander off and think it is an adventure. I remember when my dog that I had many years ago and we were going up the steps to our apartment and I wanted to trust her so let her walk up alone and instead she turned and went down the steps and I was very stunned and by the time I got down to the entrance she was long gone. She accidentally followed a dog that was coming here and she was very disappointed when our neighbor knew she was mine and returned her to me. Maybe she wanted more of an adventure or just did not want to come home. I was relieved that she was back.

I know. She is so small and friendly. Could have easily gotten run over or picked up.

I knew the dog as soon as I saw her, went out and stopped her up. He was thankful of course.

I hope he will be ok soon. He loves his dog.
