Neighbor's Dog Was Lost

My neighbor's dog was walking down the street earlier. But without my neighbor. Very unusual as he walks with her, always.
She is small, looks just like the one in the photo. Her name is Oreo and is like his shadow.
I immediately thought something was wrong with my neighbor. He has been sick for over two weeks now. So I went out and scooped up Oreo and took her home.
He met me at his driveway, all worried, wondering where she was. Glad I could reunite them and she didn't get hurt or lost.
I told him to get to the doctor. He was congested. Hope he is better soon.

That was so good of you to grab Oreo before something bad happened.
I'm sure your neighbor was happy and relieved.

I am glad it turned out well.
I have so many loose dogs around here, I have no idea where they belong.

@Vikingswest1 Most everyone around here has a leash on their dogs. Every now and then I will see one running loose.

I'm glad you took Oreo back home to her owner. Someone might have picked her up or hurt her in some way.

I bet they had a very nice reunion and so glad that Oreo was ok. Dogs do wander off and think it is an adventure. I remember when my dog that I had many years ago and we were going up the steps to our apartment and I wanted to trust her so let her walk up alone and instead she turned and went down the steps and I was very stunned and by the time I got down to the entrance she was long gone. She accidentally followed a dog that was coming here and she was very disappointed when our neighbor knew she was mine and returned her to me. Maybe she wanted more of an adventure or just did not want to come home. I was relieved that she was back.
