Good morning, friends. Yesterday I went to Claudia´s house. I bought a wonderful and expensive lunch for everyone as I wanted to celebrate the success of all of Vicente´s tests for the university. He´ll be studying something that did not exist before and I have no intention of learning the name. But everyone was happy with the food (we bought it at the awesome Chinese restaurant nearby) and I took the rests of the chocolate cake too. Claudia gave me a lot of yummy things from her garden. She brought some eggs when she came and then, when we went to the garden she started piling chard, basil, broadbeans and even some cuttings from her geraniums. When she was taking me home she also gave me some potatoes she had planted out of her house. So last night I ate some small potatoes with butter and a happy egg from her hens Claudia had told me that Sofía did not like pesto anymore so I discused with her how she did it. It had nothing to do with how I have been doing it for over 60 years so I googled it. And I was right, so, after I placed the pesto in the freezer I called her. The pesto leftovers will be now my lunch with pasta. See you later.

I just ate some with the leftovers of the pesto I made. Pesto has always been a favorite in our family.

We all did. It is incredible how that child has grown. Now he is one head taller than me and I am tall.

I'm glad you had a good time and that you were sent home with veggies, flowers and eggs. I love Chinese food. That was a good choice. Glad to hear about Vicente's tests.

We used to eat little Bante eggs from my grandmother's chickens. So good. So you can freeze pesto?
