Cold, Rainy, Blah!

And yet, when I got home, I rain suited up and took the puppy out to play. She wanted to play but didn't want to play long. We played some more with her indoor toys until she sought out her crate for a rest. A total change of subject is about to happen. I just heard an awesome quote on Father Brown. A man asked Father Brown how he could see the good in even the darkest souls. Father Brown answered, "Because it's there." Isn't that what God's forgiveness is all about? Are there some souls so dark the goodness has been extinguished?

I mostly enjoy how low-key the show is. No noisy gunfights, no endless car chases, no fancy tech. Just good, old-fashioned sleuthing.

I think there are some very dark souls...and I wonder what happens to them in the end. They say God forgives yes, but does he also not reprimand.

That's certainly the case in some people. If they have a soul left at all, it must be dried up and nothing but dust.
