Uhm valentines day is fast approaching. Everyone I know is preparing for that special day. But , what really is Valentines? Is it only a day for lovers abd couples? Generation to generation we are celebrating valentines day but do we really know what the date and occassion is all about? According to some books I have read it is because Emperor Claudius II executed two men — both named Valentine — on Feb. 14 of different years in the 3rd century A.D. Their martyrdom was honored by the Catholic Church with the celebration of St. Valentine's Day. But to us generation now Valentines is the observance of love and admiration to our partners, parents and even friends. But to all singles out there like me , dont get sad or jealous , remember loving one self is still a form of love. So, do you have plans this coming Valentines? Who are you celebrating it with?
