I'm in Kentucky, United States. How about you?

We have very beautiful lush grass, rolling hills and horses.
And probably the most nosy people in the world. LOL
But I was raised in the outskirts of Salt Lake City with their beautiful mountains and snow and the outskirts of Orlando with the heat and beaches.
I don't miss Orlando at all. I wouldn't go back even for a visit. The heat, humidity and mosquitos did it for me but I would go back to Utah in a heart beat!

Ah, come on, Orlando is fun in the summer with all that humidity! (I’m kidding. I went through boot camp in Orlando in the summer….I still prefer it over my brother having boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois in early autumn! )
I’m from Kentucky, too. And they aren’t nosy. Think of them as “the original security system.” (I joked that I didn’t know my neighbor across the street’s front door could even close because she was at it all day long, watching! )

Where would you love to stay then?
I live in Colorado, but want to go back to my home state of Missouri.
Then again, I wouldnt mind going back to the beach in Massachusettes
I have lived many places and overseas too.

@NanaMc Oh yes the rents and house prices are insane here!!!
I was born Maryland I might wanna go back there too
But Missouri is cheap for houses so cheap..that is part of the reason I would like to go there.
I lived in Arkansas too..you have your son there.
My son is here with me in CO.
Yes I remember the aquarium in St Louis, but that was when I was in elementary school fifty million years ago

@RebeccasFarm LOL, a million years ago? WOW!
Yes, my son is just outside of Little Rock.
Housing in Kentucky is very cheap too.
I have a friend who bought a fixer upper 3 bedroom home and 3 acres of land for $10,000. Of course that's not average but you can't buy a shack in someones back yard in Colorado for that!
And the house didn't need any structural work, just some paint and new carpeting and laminate.

I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I grew up in Wisconsin. I lived in San Diego, California when I was in the Navy, married, and had two children there. I lived in Guam with my husband and two children, then moved to Illinois where our third was born, and back to San Diego. When he got out of the Navy, we moved back to Illinois, and then to Wisconsin. I've been divorced and now a widow for many years. I wouldn't go back to California or Illinois, but I would love to visit Guam again. It's lovely there. I love winter and snow, so being here is good.
Florida doesn't entice me either. I might like Utah with its snow.

I prefer to be warm even if I have to put up with bugs.
