Life sure can change fast!

A friend called earlier to say that their pastor is in the hospital and could my husband Dale possible preach the message tomorrow morning.
Some people can whip up a short message or devotion, but Dale's not one of them.
He spends weeks preparing a sermon. He takes the honor of preaching the Gospel very seriously.
But he said he would be glad to preach tomorrow. He's in the living room now going over a sermon he did a while back so he doesn't have to start from scratch.
He'll do fine. He knows I'll be praying for him and he prays for me when I'm singing. She asked me to sing three or four songs and I've already practiced some I'm familiar with.
Sure had no idea this morning that we'd be at our friend's church in the morning. (This is one of the Sundays we don't have services.)
Life really can change fast...sometimes good, sometimes not so much. But we're looking forward to tomorrow.

My Saturday was like a visit to heaven as we finally got to meet, cuddle and hold our little granddaughter, Willow.
She slept on my shoulder for over an hour, I felt like I was in heaven.
I'm sure that the service is over by now and I look forward to hearing about it.

Oh my, I can just imagine what an incredible blessing that was! Our friend passed away last night. Just heartbreaking.

@1creekgirl I have 110 articles to write about different topics like Aldi almond milk and then the main article is about the price and value and then the additional questions to be answered like can the milk be frozen, The other articles are about other topics such as store policy of Home Depot, I don't know why anyone would just not get the information online but as long as payment is involved I am writing them up,

Mike is studying right now for his Sunday school lesson in the morning. He works on it almost every day. I don't teach tomorrow, every other Sunday, but I have been reading for my next lesson.
It is good Dale has sermons he can reuse in times like this.
Life does change quickly. I hope your friend's pastor will be okay.
Today has been busier with me getting things done around our home.

" God moves in a mysterious way " I'm sure your husband would be fine, when we go up or are called to the pulpit it's no longer us but it's the Holy Spirit that speaks. In the Bible ordinary people in much worst conditions did wonders not because they did it themselves but because they were called by God. Have faith everything would be okay, praying for your friend's pastor too

I'm not sure what happened to the pastor, hopefully he'll be okay. I'm sure you all are enjoying having your son there. It's always wonderful when the kids come home.
