My granddaughter is friends with Priscilla Presleys son but that's as far as knowing someone famous.
She has told me some delightful and funny storys regarding him. Apparently he's a really fun guy.
I've met several famous people, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, just to name a couple. Having lived in Florida for several years was how I had met them.
Bruce at a concert of his and Michael Jackson and his entourage at the Altamonte Square Mall in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

@NanaMc - Monte Carlo was a beautiful place, we enjoyed living there.
I have heard nothing about Navarone and Elisa's wedding. Bern is the Swiss Capital, in the North of Switzerland (German speaking part of Switzerland). We live in the south, near the Lake Lugano, in the Italian speaking Switzerland. Who are Navarone and Elisa?

That’s so cool!
Yes, I’ve met so many famous people. My kids went to school with their kids, they live in my town, they live in my condo in Florida, and my granddaughter skated with Madonna’s adopted daughter, is bff with Nichole Richie’s daughter (bunk mates at camp), etc……. They are normal people in my eyes.

@DianneN Thats exactly how she does.
She had to take her phone to be fixed at ATT once and for some reason the tech seen her contacts and asked her if it was who he thought it was and she said no.
The one thing that they made her do was sign a non disclosure. I don't know if that's typical or if his mom is really paranoid.

I know a few famous people….well, people who have a public life. No Dolly Parton or Paul McCartney.
I guess the most famous person I met was either Bill Murray or Glenn Frey of the Eagles, depending on your taste in entertainment. The one that seems to get everyone jealous, though, is Vince Gill. He’s a real sweetheart.

@NanaMc — I got to be in the all-guitar marching band that helped entertain in the groundbreaking of the new Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. After we were done, Vince handed me some water. Bless his heart.

I don't actually know anyone famous but I did meet Gareth Gates once at his church. And I almost met Rick Wakeman at the same church but I was too shy to go up and say Hi!
The lady who used to play Rose in Keeping Up Appearances was a Christian and she came to our church once as a guest and was interviewed.
