The Manager is St*pid

Some teens are like monsters when it comes to thinking about certain scenarios. For example, a 14-year-old Chinese teen girl was having a class online with me. The scenario is like this. A waiter committed a mistake in giving the wrong order to a client in a restaurant. I told her how is she going to handle this. At first. I was impressed with her answer that she is going to talk to the manager directly. Then, a question: 'What are you going to tell him or her?" She said, 'I am going to tell him or her that he or she is st*pid.' I got pissed off because she was so arrogant and proud of herself. I explained to her that it is not a good thing to say. I told her how can this person be a manager if he or she is st*pid. How can you handle this? Image Credit: media.istockphoto.com

You were right in your answer to her. There is a much more diplomatic way to handle the situation. One that wouldn't get her fired, which an answer like that would.

She is trying to stop me to say things against her notion about it. As a teacher of hers, she needs to stop and listen to me instead.

She would be likely to be fired if she told a manager that. It would seem she has a lot to learn.

I think she is not thinking logically. She seems overconfident to herself lately. I agree that she needs to eat more staple rice to be matured.

It is really a big NO to endure this kind of attitude, especially at her age. I need to cut her thorns while she is still young.

She is feeling smart and it needs to call her attention. I cannot bear the way she talks during class.
