Daffodils Will Be Blooming Soon

Was out walking in the yard just now. The Daffodils are budding and almost ready to bloom. They are the first to bloom here. Soon there will be yellow blooms around my Tulip Poplar tree. That is when I know spring has arrived. These buds give me hope. Will be happy to see spring arrive with the flowers and more birds to enjoy. Photo is mine.

I noticed those in the pots are coming out. The other flowers in the garden today are covered by the snow.

Those first spring flowers are such a joy. I planted some bulbs in some planters last autumn that I will move near the patio door so that I can enjoy the blooms even on days when it is too cool for me to go outside. That is usually what happens here.

@CarolDM I just took a peek at my planters, there is a little growth in them and the starts of plants is coming thru the dirt, this will be exciting to see them come up.

This is a wonderful sign, that spring is finally in the process. Here it will be the return of the robins. Even when there's snow on the ground, they will come back!

The daffodils are getting closer around here as well. Usually the crocuses blossom first but I rarely spot those before they bloom.

@CarolDM I planted crocuses in the fall of 2020 and they came up last spring. I have yet to see any sign of them this year.

My Mum was always thrilled to see the first daffodils appearing. Have you seen these frilly daffodils? They were at a flower show we went too.
