Getting back to cooking from scratch. / myLot

We've been having a hard time finding some ready-made things we've had before, such as chese, and a few other things. I was able to recall how to make chese sauce from back in high school, and my husband raved about it. I just made a lot more than I expected to so we now have some more than expected. It's all good now though. I really should consider getting back to cooking with fresh foods instead of food from a box. But it's still fun to do sometimes. And, a nice present, getting paid.

I've never made cheese sauce. I'm sure it isn't hard. I'm glad your husband raved about it. I always cook from scratch. It's healthier.

In my country, we used to eat ready-made meals in the supermarket. It seems they are all gone or perhaps there are still some but haven't seen them lately.

I accepted myLot payment today as my Valentine's present since no one was going to send me one anyway, I constantly make quick things like smoked sausage and French fries but I used to love to cook it just is not as much fun when you are alone,
