I bet that millions of people watch WWE(World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestling every week. I don't like it, don't watch it. But, I just saw a commercial for it and started to think about it a bit. It is on the SYFY channel this evening. Science fiction seems a strange place for it until I thought about it a bit. It isn't real. It is true science fiction and a lot of acting for show and entertainment. Science fiction is fiction based on "imagined future scientific or technological advances". Blah! Blah! Blah! I think some of these fans pay a lot of money to go see these fights live too. To actually watch some idiots put on a fake show. I could use the money spent in a much better way.

I watch it, just not as much as i use to. It's not bad if you like to be entertained. Or grew up with it. Yeah it's scripted storylines, but so is soap operas - and literally everything else on tv or that is a movie. Lol. The moves also aren't fake, neither are alot of injuries. Though some injuries are. It was a one time thing being on that channel. They do it very few times

@celticeagle but facts are facts, and it's not all fake lol. *shrugs* and I'd be saying that even if i had never watched wrestling in my life. Because again, facts are facts. Can't argue facts. Only opinions.

I was an avid fan of WWE before but it's no longer aired or shown in our local TV stations.

I guess with all the theatrics it is entertaining.

I no longer watch WWE but I did at one time when everyone had a costume and a gimmick and I liked it at that time because it was amusing and entertaining, I would of course never go to see it live,

I got into wrestling decades ago and enjoyed it. Today I'm not interested at all. Even though it's fake, they do get hurt from time to time.

Yes, I recall an interview with one who had retired and he told of all the times he got hurt and that it was all fake.

I never could watch WWE and to this day still can't. It just doesn't interest me. But then most sports don't, even if this one is definitely fake. As for science fiction, a lot of the things that get suggested in a lot of it actually do become real things.
