My package came in

With my new insurance I get a quarterly stipend to spend on over the counter medicines and other items. I had ordered supplies of two of my sinus medicines, and some arthritis gloves. A friend here asked about them. They are basically a glove made of knit support material. No fingertips, so you can type and use your phone. They feel good. I am going to wear them often here at home and see how that works. I had bought some copper infused gloves a long time ago that were supposed to help. They did not have as strong a compression, did not hold up well, and I believe were mostly a gimmick. Just dabs of copper paint at various joints on black jersey type fabric. I also have a medical brace I bought about six years ago that I wear at night. I know it helps with the pain and numbness in my hands. I wish I had two of them. I am sure I can get another. Right now it is past my bed time and the kitties want some more food. Happy Valentines Day to those who celebrate and good night to all.

@GardenGerty I do agree with that concern, especially if it is too long. I also ordered a pair of Bluetooth earplugs and it seems there are no available items.

I know arthritis is very painful. Thankfully I don't seem to have any yet.

@JudyEv I think mine is mild but worsening. Complaining in general does not do much good and can make others uncomfortable.

@GardenGerty I know fibromyalgia can be incredibly painful. I think you do very well as you rarely complain.

Let us know when you have more experience with those gloves, I would like to know if they are worth it.

They are nice and tight. Not sure if they help anything, but they keep my joints warm. They are a little long in the fingers, I have to pull them back so I can type.

It is often a part of aging, and yes it is painful. Doctor says it also may be extra painful right now because I had a covid booster.
