Wired and tired

You could tell the kids went home and had lots of treats from Valentine's party. First they were stirred up by the sugar and then they crashed. They looked tired, and lacked focus. My kiddo had circles under his eyes. Tomorrow is Wednesday. I will take him swimming. It will be good for both of us.

Too much sweets for kids is never good.

In addition to having extra sweets, the party and the anticipation puts them out of routine. However this year seems to always be out of routine.

@GardenGerty - Kids need to follow a routine, they do not need changes.

They had their parties Monday. Tuesday was a regular day, as was Wednesday. Thursday we had a "snow day".

Yes, we made it to the pool. It was nice. The weather was nice that day, too.

I am not sure it was all candy. It is also being out of routine, and then add in a major storm coming in. We ended up with a school closure due to weather.

Hopefully, swimming the pool will help bring things back to normal.
