Goodbye Earring

Mom's emerald earrings.

The pair of emerald earrings belonged to my Mother. I was wearing it now and then. The day before yesterday, as I took it off, it came apart. I had a twang of sorrow, because it belonged to my departed Mother.

I'm sorry! Did the stone come out of the setting? That can easily be repaired by a jeweler. I hope you can get it fixed since this is a sentimental piece of jewelry!

This is something that is very easy to fix. Bring it to a jewelry department, they will fix it.

That is sad. Since it appears that you have the piece you should try to take it into get repaired, and maybe have them check the stability of the other earring so it doesn't happen to it as well.

Try taking it to a jewelry store, who knows it can still be repaired. Because the earrings are your memories from your mother.
