Walnuts provide vitamins and minerals as well as fiber and healthy fats. The key culprit in many diseases is inflammation and walnuts may help decrease inflammation. It may also help to fight oxidating damage in the body and this includes damage due to bad LDL cholesterol. Eating walnuts also nourishes the beneficial bacteria found in your gut. They are also good sources of omega-3 fat with may help to reduce the risk of heart disease. The eating of walnuts may also help to control type 2 diabetes and even reduce the risk of getting this disease. This nut may also help in controlling body weight and may have effects on blood sugar.

Great as long as your not allergic to them. Other wise you get those same things from other things you eat.
