Good day to you all,
We are more than halfway through the work week and after today I am happy about that. We have a lot of projects to get done this week, so we been hustling at work to get them all done by weeks end. Then on top of all that, today we had like 20 managers from the district all come to our store today. They had some kind of meeting. I really didn’t care, and nothing changed for me but of course half the building is freaking out because they are coming there.
That kind of thing never bothered me, I always looked at it like this. If you do your job and do it right every day, then who cares is they come you should have nothing to worry about. I met the big district boss today for the first time and he seemed alright, he even asked why I was not wearing my mask and I said, well I don’t really believe in it, but I can put it on, and he says, “if you could some of these managers will make a big deal about it”. Fair enough it is company policy, so I put it on. Thankfully it was about 20 minutes till it was time for me to leave anyways. LOL
So, they are calling for snow overnight again and depending on who you listen to it is can be anywhere from about and inch to 1-3 inches. I guess we will see in the morning. We didn’t get any last night and the roads were fine this morning so that was a good thing.

I never understood why associates freak out whenever big-wigs come visit a store. Let them see how things really operate on a day-to-day basis, then maybe things will change from the corporate level. If the store looks perfect every time they visit, then change will never happen because they think their dumb policies are working, when we all know they’re not.

@Bensen32 We have visitors from corporate coming to our store today. Everybody here is running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I’m just st sitting back laughing. I told my crew this morning that we’re just going to run business as usual, we’re not going to go into panic mode like everyone else. If corporate doesn’t like what they see, I’ll hear about it soon enough.

My husband and I agree. The same happens at Pizza hut. When they think an inspection is about to happen, they do what they're supposed to. George and I both believe, if you treat every day like it's an inspection, you can never fail.
Sorry you had to wear a mask, but it was near the end. Next time, try saying it exhaserbates an illness like asthma. THey tend to leave you alone after that.

Yeah, I always laugh at the people who freak out about the inspections because you know those are the people who are not doing their job the way they should be.
Oh there idiots would just tell me I need to get a note from my doctor that I don't have to wear a mask.
