Breaded Pork Steaks 03/01/22

Last night I decided to make up some breaded pork steaks. Cut up two honkers into four giant pieces, and then just made a quick mixture of flour, bread crumbs, salt, lemon and pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and a touch of curry powder. Dredged my honkin' meat into some whipped eggs, then through the breading mixture, set the oven for 350 degrees and baked for an hour. Served up with a medley of zucchini, onions, and fried potatoes. When I flipped up them I lost some of the breading on the pictured side. But it was no problem. Plenty on the other side, crispy and delicious. Yummy stuff.

Honkers are just huge pieces of meat. I like to think of my anatomy as that as well, but I am probably delusional. At least my wife would tell me that.

@kobesbuddy They do. In fact, I even think they are better. Pork chops tend to be a bit dry for me. Pork streaks are always juicy.

Sounds good especially with potatoes. I always line my pans with foil, easy clean up.
