It breaks my heart when...

...I am remembering my deceased mother. I have a pretty solid reason to feel this way. Due to this pandemic, she did not go out of our house, except when having two shots of vaccine. When she died, I felt a bit guilty. Honestly, I have lots of plans for her to enjoy life after this chaotic situation at present. I hope she is fine with my father in heaven now. Did you ever feel guilty about someone or something? Image Credit: cf.ltkcdn.net

There was really nothing you could have done at the time. I often feel I could have done more for my mother too but, at the time, I felt I was doing my best.

I knew that we did our very best at that time. I just felt sorry that I cannot even give more to her.

@cacay1 That is a very young age to lose your mother. You must have been devastated.

Not that often really. I have tried my best not to be hurtful.

I am trying my best to do that. That's the reason why I am doing other things besides working online. Cooking is one of these ideas.

I feel guilty about a lot of things. What did your mother die from?

We always feel guilty about something when a loved one passes away. It’s only natural . I think of things I wish I’d done or said to my son and Leo before they passed away but now it’s too late. It’s out of our hands. We can never do anything for them again. I know in my heart that I did everything I possibly could for both of them but I still have these feelings.

I really felt bad because we were not able to talk or say goodbye to her. It was so sudden. I sometimes dream about her and she seems happy.

@RubyHawk Sometimes I am still thinking that my parents are still here. I always talk to them as if they are here at my side. Of course, I do not do this with other people. I do not want them to think differently.

@Shavkat I know what you-mean. I wasn’t able to be with my son or Leo when they passed away. It’s heartbreaking.

So sorry to hear. Don't feel that way dear. That way we all feel guilty some way or other but that doesn't change anything. Take care

It's a sad thing but I need to be more positive about it. It is God's will.

What happened happened. I am sure she is happy being with your father in heaven.
