This is a picture of our Eagle Camper sitting in our driveway. I spent part of this morning transferring all the items, tools, and equipment we had removed from the outside storage compartments before taking it in for service back into those compartments. The big plus was having a chance to take a good look at each piece and decide if it really needed to go back in the camper. Many things wound up staying in the garage and a few wound up in the dumpster. Having a chance to better arrange things was another bonus. We did note a few things we will have to update or replace. One of the storage boxes was cracked and broken. The water filter is out of date. And we need a new circuit protector to plug in between the campground power and our camper. These are part of the normal things that come up every year or two. Next Friday, March 11, we will be heading out on our first trip of the season. I can hardly wait. I hope all y'all are having, had, or will have a great Saturday. PS: All y'all is proper southern US grammar when addressing groups of more than 2 people.

So you're planning this trip for 2025? That's the next time that March 7 falls on a Friday.

Well, actually, we will be going camping on Mar 7, 2025, if all things work out. The way reservations are filling up, we might want to book that weekend now.

That is a really impressive rig. I know what you're saying about trying to decide if you really need something or not.

The storage bins that were full up are only 1/2 full now. It's amazing how much extra gets packed and just left even when it's not needed anymore.

SOUTHERN GRAMMAR: Y’all is singular. All y’all is plural. You’ins is eastern Tennessean for “all y’all.” If you would, could you share a photo or two of the refurbished insides?

Glad you know what things you need before you head out. It was a good Saturday here.

We've been at this camping thing a while and have learned to leave behind things that haven't been needed even though you thought for sure they would be.

I am thinking that section above the hitch is a sleeping area or maybe a little prison cell for unruly kids!

The area above the hitch is the bedroom, complete with a queen-sized bed, a closet, nightstands, and personal cabinets.

I'm sure we will. No matter where we go, it is our home away from home.
