What's up, Grapefruit?

Awhile back I was trying to come up with a catch phrase. I was reminded of that as I was writing out today's title... "What's up, Grapefruit?" Actually isn't bad....
Buuuuuut I wasn't writing about catch phrases today. Instead ... for real's what is up with grapefruit? It seems like they're not in stock and twhen they are, the prices have gone up. What gives? Has there been frost in the areas that grow them or something?
Can anyone solve the grapefruit mystery?

I haven't seen a price difference here on anything except meat and gas. (Chicken went up by $10 for a family pack in less than a month. Gas prices just jumped today from $3.26 yesterday to $3.60.)

The only grapefruit I have in the house is the one in the bottle. My grapefruit essential oil.

I don't usually go in stores any more, have been getting groceries delivered - I imagine that stores are out of the wackiest things. Oh well, at least it's not the tp again
