Awhile back I was trying to come up with a catch phrase. I was reminded of that as I was writing out today's title... "What's up, Grapefruit?" Actually isn't bad.... Buuuuuut I wasn't writing about catch phrases today. Instead ... for real's what is up with grapefruit? It seems like they're not in stock and twhen they are, the prices have gone up. What gives? Has there been frost in the areas that grow them or something? Can anyone solve the grapefruit mystery? Photo from Pixabay User Couleur

I haven't seen a price difference here on anything except meat and gas. (Chicken went up by $10 for a family pack in less than a month. Gas prices just jumped today from $3.26 yesterday to $3.60.)

@FayeHazel Yeah, us, too. At least gas prices dropped.

@DaddyEvil Ow. I fear that chicken, like hamburger, once a relatively inexpensive staple will become high priced too :/

The prices of everything have gone up maybe it’s something simple like that. I hate grapefruit but it has good health benefits for those who aren’t on medication that can’t have it .

The only grapefruit I have in the house is the one in the bottle. My grapefruit essential oil.

I can't remember the last time I had a grapefruit and now you mention it, can't recall seeing any in a fair old while, either

Many items cannot be found now. The supply chain has caused a huge back up. My Dad used to enjoy grapefruit.

I don't usually go in stores any more, have been getting groceries delivered - I imagine that stores are out of the wackiest things. Oh well, at least it's not the tp again
