2022 Health Journey - Day 67 (March 7th)

It is another day complete...so back to share how I did. Over the weekend I did not really stick to my low carb "diet" - was just so busy and stressful with my grandmother being in the hospital. So yes, I had carbs. However, I did not wake up with my sugars TOO high. Onto today though -- Weigh in - 177 I am up 4 pounds almost from my lowest weight. Yuck! Guess I need to get back into working out a lot. Blood sugars: Fasting - 127 Meal 1 - 159 Meal 2 - 113 Meal 3 - 83 Now - what did I eat? Meal 1 - large hotdog (no bun), 2 cheese sticks On the side - sugar free jello to drink: coffee with half & half and sugar free chocolate syrup Meal 2 - about 5 oz salmon with shredded cheese ranch for dipping snack - smores flavored fat bomb to drink - blue raspberry zipfizz Meal 3 - 2 servings deli chicken, 1 cheese stick snack - caramel cup fat bomb P.S. I mention drinks when they add carbs Macros: Calories - 1,266 Protein - 91 Fat - 90 Net carbs - 18 Sugars -8 Woohoo, I finally saw a number in the 80's! That's where I like my blood sugar. I bet I will still see 120+ fasting though. Not sure why it is going up when the first month or so it would not go up during the night. Maybe my body was just happy to have some insulin but now it is used to it. Hard to say. Anyways I think I did alright today - what do you think? Also, how did you do if you'd like to share?

This week I'm starting to clock myself to sleep early and I'm glad I did.

you seem to have a hard time sticking to your diets, and blame everything going on around you for it. But I think you can do it and hope you do.

@Courtlynn when a family member is hospitalized and stuff my health is the last thing on my mind. I may still have cheats once a week but I need to try to not go beyond that meal or day

I think you're doing good. You have had some stress and came through it. Your numbers look good. 83! Wow, huh? You don't want to hear what I ate today. Just think of all the food you've had in the last four days. I'll bet it was a 4000 calorie day today. I'm not done yet lol.

thanks....I wish I could just stick to the diet though. However, I like the carbs... Well, now I am curious what you ate lol
