One Thing Leads To Another

Happy Wednesday Everyone! snow was expected for today but a few flurries fell and then it all turned to a misty rain. Thankfully it's above the freezing mark so doubtful it will freeze and turn to ice. It's funny how when you start to do one thing it can just snowball into something else. I sat here at my desk to pay some bills and myLot. Once the bills were paid I wanted to shred some stuff but of course the shredder was full and had to be emptied. Emptying the shredder should be an easy job but of course some of the tiny little pieces of confetti size paper landed on the floor so that meant dragging out the vacuum to clean the floor and in turn I wound up vacuuming the whole downstairs. Why not if I had the vacuum out already All I wanted to do was myLot!! My dentist appointment yesterday wound up being that I need a tooth pulled on Friday. It's not worth saving but at least I'm not in pain so I can wait until Friday and it wasn't an emergency. Plus it's a tooth all the way in the back so I probably won't even miss it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it What's going on with you these days?

Good morning! I'm sorry you're going to lose a tooth but am glad you aren't losing more than one. I just made sausage with scrambled eggs. I'm going to enjoy them and go to sleep. I've been up all night. I hope you enjoy your day.

@Marilynda1225 I did. It's my favorite breakfast. Thanks. I'd sleep better if the diuretic didn't make me get up every two hours to go to the bathroom.

I know what you mean. If I clean or do yard work I always get side tracked from the task at hand and never finishing a single task. Hey, at least I started those tasks, right?

Is your heat working? It isn't as cold here but it's a nasty day anyway.

@RebeccasFarm I'm sorry that your heat isn't working right and that you're still dealing with that nonsense

I am sorry, a tooth all way in the back will not be a problem to chew, I would not replace it for sure. I am terrified by teeth implants.

I agree. Way back when this tooth had a root canal and it's been a problem on and off for years. Guess it's time to get rid of this nuisance tooth once and for all

The back ones are important for chewing meats but besides that losing a back one is best. Glad you aren't in any pain. Yes have days like that alot.

Just lazing about today. 4°C/39°F, high overcast and tulips and daffs are starting to peek up where the snow has receded.

Well no pain is a win, win. I stopped using a shredder just from what you described. I hated those little pieces of paper scattering everywhere.

You would think emptying it wouldn't be such a hassle but even without dropping a ton of it on the floor there's always some of those little devils that escape

Be sure to get all the info on a possible dry socket from your dentist to try and prevent it happening after the extraction. It happened to me and is almost well, but has been more painful than just having a tooth pulled should have been.

I will definitely get as much info as I can about a dry socket. I certainly don't want more pain

I have times like that, I start out doing one thing then it grows into other things before I get back to what I first wanted to do. Glad you will get your tooth taken care of and that it isn't bothering you. It's rainy here today. Possible wintry weather for us Friday/Saturday. Going to see some sort of wet weather, will have to wait to see when the front gets closer to us to know exactly what it will be. We have bible study tonight at church, going through the book of Psalms right now. Hope the rain is done by then. Have a good day.

Sounds like the story of my life. We did have some light snow. In fact, I believe it is still snowing. I am glad it is not rain because it is below freezing.

We were told to expect snow overnight which worried us because we had a hospital appointment today. It didn't snow until about 6 a.m. and then very heavily. We are easily snowed in here so expected to have to cancel. However my husband had just completed required 4 day diet restrictions so he was hungry enough to face the snow rather than another day on liquids. We managed with the help of tyre chains to make it to a regular road and made the drive to the hospital an hour late. Snow was patchy but roads had been cleared. He had his tests, he had a good result and I drove us home in a heavy snow storm. This was my first, and hopefully last, experience of driving in heavy snow. It is unusual to have snow in March especially such a heavy fall that chains are required.

It's funny how one thing leads to another. At least you got the downstairs vacuumed. I'm sorry they can't save the tooth. Being way in back you won't miss it, though your tongue will look for the missing tooth. I'm just doing what I always do.

Had a dentist appointment yesterday for a cleaning. Expecting a s**wstorm Friday and Saturday. Sorry you have to have a tooth pulled. I had two pulled way in the back because I tried opening up pistachios with my teeth. Bad girl!
