Well that was unexpected...

Not long after I posted the previous post, there was a knock at my door. It was my neighbor from across the way, asking if I'd like to have dinner with her. Her housemate is away, and she was used to cooking for more than one person. I normally don't have a "real" dinner (I'll mic a can of soup or have a bowl of cereal or whatever), so I accepted. She said to come over any time, so after I did something else on the computer I did. My neighbor had cooked steak and potatoes and made a salad--plus some coconut shrimp she made in her air fryer really fast. Everything was good--and it was sure more dinner than I was used to having. My stomach actually feels full. She didn't finish her steak, so she cut it into smaller pieces and put it in a bag for me to take home to Angel. Angel got a piece when I got home. Now that my tummy's full, I'm tired, and it's only 7:21 p.m. by my computer clock. That was unexpected, but nice.

That was nice of her to invite you over to eat a meal with her. And Angel got some steak to. How nice.

It is very nice. Your neighbor is very kind. Sometimes having a company to enjoy a dinner is better.
