Couldn't do it

I had some medical tests this morning. One of them was a CT with contrast.
I did not realize they were going to do that. The contrast part. Because of that I had to have labs drawn first. I had not scheduled them. I wonder if I just did not read the letter all the way through.
Because of the contrast dye I cannot donate blood today. Also because they had to take blood to send for labs. It would deplete me too much.
So things got a little complicated today. I guess it is good I am on my break.
Report on yesterday's out side time: The neighbor has a dog this year, and it is not on a leash and it did not approve of me getting in my own garage. I did not approve of it being in my yard. We shall see who wins.
I am not a dog person but I tolerate them well if they stay in their own place. How about you?
The daffodils are sending up blooms.

I'm allergic to furbabies of all types but most of them love me. Pretty usually starts talking with them and petting them while leading them away from me.
We bought miniature daffodils to plant in our yard today. (They're in our laundry room right now. We'll plant them in April, if it doesn't seem like it's going to snow.)

Are your daffodils blooming already, or is it bulbs you will plant?

@GardenGerty They're in full bloom. If it was bulbs, I could plant them now.

@DaddyEvil Usually any dog will tame right down for Bob but this one does not, and he tries to sneak up on you.

I do not remember them doing contrast last time. This is a follow up from last July.

Sorry about your labs and test getting postponed but better than you doing them to get inconclusive results!
Why can't people keep their animals at home?? That is their responsibility. If he comes at you, call animal control. You could also tell them that you are fed up with their dog in your yard and you will be calling animal control if it happens again. Maybe the warning will wake them up.

Our town is so small we have no animal control. My labs and tests went okay, I just could not go donate blood today.

At my last place, I had several neighbors through the years with dogs who did not like me in my own yard, so I know how that goes.

Sorry to hear about that. Sometimes it can suck when life does that to you. Believe me, I know.

What's wrong with your blood? I am an animal lover but I stay away from them as I cannot manage them at this old age.

Nothing is wrong with my blood. To do the imaging test with contrast dye they have to do a blood test to make sure my kidneys are functioning well. Once I had the dye in I could not donate because it would not be good to give to a blood transfusion recipient.

I am a dog person but I cannot tolerate dogs roaming on the streets without a leash. Fortunately, our house is gated so they couldn't get inside the house. And I live in a gated community as well where stray dogs are not allowed and homeowners are reprimanded if they allow their dogs to roam on the street.

This family just makes the dog the kids' responsibility and we are in a wide open space, not enough fences.

I love dogs but others need to stay in their yard as I keep mine in our yard

This dog needs discipline and we need a fence.

Yes, dogs can be destructive. Some people who keep sheep and goats here also get a llama to protect from dogs and other canine species.
