This is my St. Patrick's Day Shirt. It gets worn once a year, or less. Three of the websites I click on and answer surveys asked if I wear green for St. Patrick's Day and my answer is "if I remember". My grandmother would be 122 today. As a child I remember drawing St. Patrick themed pictures to give to her for her birthday. Mom tried to make sure we went to see her for her birthday. I really liked to color and draw. I am going through my clothes getting rid of things that I seldom wear, but I think I will keep this one, the Halloween one, the Easter Bunny one and the Christmas one, even if I seldom wear them. I know not ever myLotter observes St. Patty's Day, even in a token way, as I do, but I am guessing you all have clothes. Maybe some of you are getting rid of a few. I do that to make room for more. Top o' the Mornin' to you! Oh and hubby has caught my cold.

We never celebrated St. Patrick's Day, I discovered this celebration because I was in Atlanta years ago on March 17 and everything was painted in green and there was a parade.

Probably very uniquely from the US.People of Finnish descent celebrate St. Urho's Day either the day before or after the St. Patrick's Day. Anything for a party.

@GardenGerty Most religious celebrations are only about a special Mass and a procession to remember the Saint. The day of St.Francis in Italy the Priests bless the animals, they are allowed to get inside the Church on that day.

I never remembered to wear green for St. Patty's Day until people started pinching me. Then I'd find a green marking pen and draw a line on my wrist so I didn't forget and wash it off. I hated that! When I clean out my closet, Pretty gets first dibs on my old shirts. She wears them as night shirts/night gowns. Any left over we donate to one of the thrift shops here in town. I hope you enjoy your day.

@DaddyEvil I buy most of my clothes at the thrift shop, so then I feel free to get rid of them whenever.

We don't celebrate it here. Yes, I have clothes that need to be dispatched. Few was given to my cousin, I hope he likes hand-me-down clothes. Some were almost like-new because I have not used them often.

Sometimes we get so much stuff or so many clothes that they hardly get worn.

Our son sent us a video clip from the balcony of his office. They had the Ukraine flag out in front of the floats which was a nice thing to do.

I dug out my (green enamelled) shamrock earrings and am wearing them now even as I type. Couldn't find them last year so was reduced to wearing the gold ones. (Yes, I have two pairs of shamrock earrings.)
