I finished reading The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie featuring Hercule Poiriot. If you remember Agatha Christie said that he was her least favorite character, In fact she called him a stuck up little snob. But her readers liked him, he was a great seller of her books so she continued to write about him. In the ABC Murders the murderer was killing people by the alphabet beginning with A. The murderer sent a letter to authorities before the act giving the place and date the murders would take place. I won’t tell you the outcome in case you read the book. I will say it’s the last person you’d suspect. I believe the book was written in 1935. It was an interesting book. I enjoyed the read

I am sure it was a good read. I love Agatha Christie’s books especially with Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot.

@Marty1 You’re right . I found a book in my stash. By The Pricking Of My Thumbs. It’s Tommy and Tuppence.

I have read many books with Poirot as the main character. I prefer some books where a par of young people (I think the girl´s nickname was Tuppence) solved murders.

I remember them. I think they were husband and wife. It’s been so long since I’d read any of Christie’s books. They will be new to me again.

@marguicha And it seems like she wrote a book about a older married couple that I liked. Christie wrote so many good books.

Is this a standalone book or part of a series? I looked it up at my library they don’t have it at all.

I don’t remember who I’ve seen playing Poirot. It’s a short fat-man with a mustache as well as I can remember Would that have been David Suchet?
